Adhesion failure
Workmanship-related coating adhesion failure during the warranty period on a qualifying system.
Residential limited warranty
Precision Concrete Coating stands behind qualifying residential garage floor coating systems with a written 15-year residential limited warranty. Coverage starts with how the floor is built — diamond-ground preparation, a commercial-grade epoxy base, full-broadcast flake, and UV-stable polyaspartic protection.
How to read this page
This page summarizes the residential warranty terms Precision already publishes on the website. It is a homeowner guide, not a substitute for the written warranty provided with your project. If anything here and the written document differ, the written document controls.
Coverage is designed around workmanship-related coating problems on qualifying professionally installed residential systems under normal residential use. Concrete movement, moisture, abuse, and other site conditions can fall outside coverage. That is why the slab is evaluated before installation and exclusions are stated clearly.
Commercial projects are estimated on their own terms. Residential 15-year limited warranty language does not automatically apply to every commercial environment.
What the residential warranty covers
Qualifying residential garage floor coating systems installed by Precision may be reviewed for the following under normal residential use, as stated in the published warranty summary:
Workmanship-related coating adhesion failure during the warranty period on a qualifying system.
Peeling caused by installation defects — not misuse, later contamination, or excluded site conditions.
Delamination caused by installation defects on a qualifying residential system can be reviewed under the written terms.
Warranty remedies are limited to the original installed coating area and are determined at Precision’s sole discretion under the written terms. Exact coverage depends on the installed system and the written warranty provided with your project.
What it does not cover
Because concrete and environmental conditions vary, certain conditions are specifically excluded in the published terms. Common exclusions include:
Slab settlement, cracking after install, and other substrate movement are concrete issues, not automatic coating defects.
Moisture in or under the slab can cause problems the coating film cannot permanently solve. Moisture-related issues may be excluded.
Impact, gouging, dragging heavy equipment, and other abuse are outside normal residential use.
Failure to follow care guidance provided after installation can affect coverage.
Chemical attack and harsh exposure beyond normal residential garage use may be excluded.
Existing coatings and other site or environmental conditions can fall outside coverage. Normal appearance variations are not covered defects.
Workmanship vs the slab
A warranty conversation should start with a simple question: did the coating fail because it was installed incorrectly, or did the concrete move, leak moisture, or get damaged after a correct install?
Workmanship / coating issues are the ones the residential limited warranty is built around: adhesion failure, peeling, or delamination caused by installation defects on a qualifying system under normal residential use.
Substrate / concrete issues live in the slab itself — movement, new cracks from settlement, moisture vapor, contamination that was not a coating defect. Those conditions can ruin a perfectly applied film. Published exclusions treat them as outside automatic coverage.
That distinction is why Precision inspects, grinds, and evaluates moisture before coating. The warranty is not a promise that concrete will stop being concrete.
Moisture and maintenance
Moisture is evaluated before coating because Texas slabs hold water. If readings require mitigation, that becomes part of the recommendation. Moisture-related issues can still be excluded after install. A coating is not a waterproofing warranty for the slab.
Use the floor under normal residential conditions. Follow the care guidance provided after installation. Notify Precision promptly if a potential warranty issue appears. Misuse and excluded conditions can affect coverage.
We do not publish a separate chemical list or a transfer deadline on the website. Those details, if they exist for your job, belong in the written warranty documents — not in invented website copy.

Call 346-220-3761 or use the contact page. Have the project address and a description of what you are seeing.
Why preparation is in the warranty story
A warranty that ignores preparation is just a paragraph. Precision’s published residential limited warranty sits on top of a staged install: inspection, diamond grinding, repairs when needed, moisture evaluation, then the system — epoxy base, full-broadcast flake where specified, UV-stable polyaspartic protection.
That process does not make exclusions disappear. It makes covered workmanship issues the exception instead of the plan. If you want the sequence in more detail, use the installation page. If you want the company context, use the About page.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranty coverage applies only to the original customer and original installation location and is not automatically transferable if you sell the home. Transferability and liability limits are defined in the written warranty documents.
